Biography
Ato Kwamena Onoma’s broad interest lies in the study of African politics and society. His current research focuses on the intersection of questions of identity and belonging on one hand and the elaboration of infrastructure in Africa on the other. He is the author of The Undulating Capacity of the State (Cambridge University Press, 2025). His previous publications include Anti-Refugee Violence and African Politics (Cambridge University Press, 2013) and The Politics of Property Rights Institutions in Africa (Cambridge University Press, 2009).
