Biography

Dr. Mohammad Yaghi is a political scientist specializing in Middle East politics, with a focus on the Gulf States, Palestine, and political mobilization. He has taught at the University of Guelph, Queen’s University, and most recently at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in Riyadh. He combines theoretical and practical expertise gained through years of work with Palestinian, European, and American think tanks. His recent publications include editing the special issue Foreign Aid of Gulf States: Continuity and Change (Third World Quarterly, 2024) and “Organizational Rifts within Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood” (Middle East Law and Governance, 2022).
