Biography

Shengqiao Lin is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto. His research examines state–business relations with a focus on China, studying how firms respond to government intervention and how these interactions shape governance outcomes. His work has appeared in the Journal of Politics, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Peace Research, and Journal of Contemporary China, among other journals. He previously held a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University’s Fairbank Center and the Reimagining the Economy Project.
