Biography : 

Elizabeth McCallion researches Canadian politics with a focus on parliament. She is interested in how the rules of parliament condition and constrain the behaviour of legislators there, and whether gendered rules produce gendered outcomes. Some of her current work focuses on representational behaviour in the Senate, gender and cabinet ministers, diversity in parliamentary committees, and lobbying in Canada. Her upcoming project examines the intersectional representation of race/Indigeneity and gender in the House of Commons and Senate.
