Biography

Kyumin’s interests span from classical to modern political thought on various subjects including teleology, virtue ethics, aesthetics, and theories of motivation and moral psychology. Her current research examines the ways in which Saint Augustine’s theory of human psychology helps us understand the causes of war and conditions of peace. She is also interested in a comparative study of Augustine and later theorists such as Hobbes and Kant.
